01 Parades

Watch most of the parades, with the different krewes! Check it out on Bourbon Street! These will not be the main parade floats (That is on Fat Tuesday). Rather these are local businesses, charities and individuals who signed up and got their permit!

02 Float Competition

Compete with other floats to win a cash prize and some recognition. Sign your business up to enter for a chance to win. Or better yet: watch from the sidelines and cast your votes.
Check out the highly detailed beautiful floats. Make sure to check out the float museum to see past artworks.

03 Fat Tuesday

The main event! This is where everyone gets involved. We have cake, authentic Creole food and a simple presentation by the mayor of the city. Of course, the "King" will be there to reside over his subjects! He will be the one kicking off all the main floats.

04 Costume Contest

Check out the annual costume contest. It does not have to be period based in anyway, shape or form. Come as a jester, a queen or your favoritie movie character. Winner takes home a specialy sash as well as 500 dollars cash prize.
