Project 3 Final - 2024 Data Science Conference

Post by Christopher B »

Hi Class,
Here is what I've got so far for Project 3. The website is designed to showcase a Data Science and Statistics Conference that will be held June of 2024 in Amsterdam. Due to supply-chain shortages, I was unable to get all of my pages & nav bar items built. But it was a fun journey and I was able to incorporate a lot of the techniques learned this semester.

Thanks for the great class and I wish all of you the best in your school and career paths!

This looks really good! I like the use of color and how the site navigates, for the navigation itself I might have had it so each item was white to begin with but changed to those colors when hovered over. Well done!

Here's my website for the 2024 Data Science and Statistics Conference in Amsterdam.Everything should be here, it's just not responsive yet. I've gotta add some media queries and then it'll be a wrap.

Thanks for the great class and I wish all of you the best in your school and career paths!

Christopher, I really wish your awesome image of Amsterdam was at the top and was the first thing the user would see.
I know you focused on doing the cool trick on your home page, and time caught up with you.
I am super impressed that you worked on the Wordpress part too! You will be a fine Webmaster should you care to continue in that direction!
