Re: Project 1 Final

Wow! This is very impressive! I love how clean and simple it is, and yet you've added just the right touches with font, color, etc. to make it stylish as well. Excellent layout - you've done a great job showcasing your products. I'm hard pressed to find something I'd change - maybe the tagline next ...

Re: Project 1 Final

You do a great job with your fonts and colors, Kaycee! It feels contemporary and professional with just enough artsy added in. I like how you did your pictures on the About page, gives a little shabby chic feel to it. I'm looking forward to seeing your progression with this great design foundation.

Re: Project 1 Final - Finally ;)

Hi Kirsten -
This is looking great! I really like your layout - easy to see everything I'd want to explore. I like your fonts and backgrounds as well. The only thing I have a little trouble with visually is the orange text on the green box outlined in an orange, dashed stroke.
Well done!

Re: Finalized Project 1

Hey Amy - This looks fantastic! I LOVE the leather backgrounds - those are perfect for your site. Rather than the animal coat for the remaining background, I think it would be easier to read your text on a barn wood background that is slightly opaque (possibly). I wonder if you nav issues have to do...

Re: Project One (kinda)

Ryan - You're farther along than I am! I think this is looking really good. I like the contrast between the pastel color and the scientific feel, relating the soft, human touch and the concrete scientific. You might want to play a little with color and fonts for your testimonial text. Great concept,...

Re: Project 1 Roughs

Hi Kaycee - Your designs are great and I think I'd like to mix and match. First of all, let me just say I love your font choices. That's always something I agonize over and you really seem to have a knack for it. Color themes are working very nicely, as well. My preference for your designs would be ...

Re: Project 1 Very Roughs

Hi Kirsten, I really like your brand name and both of your layouts. The fish compatibility chart is a nice addition, too. I prefer the color theme of the second set - it feels more like I'm in an aquarium or deep in the sea. I really like the font you used in your first designs for the brand name. C...

Re: Project 1 roughs

I love both of your designs and concepts! Great job on branding for both, as well. I think I prefer the organ purchase site, just because it made me giggle, especially in the casual way you discuss your products and services. The layout and images are great. I hope I get to see it as a finished site.

Re: Project 1 Roughs

Hi Denise, Both your designs are very good and showcase your products nicely. I prefer the first design - your homepage is a real grabber and I like the subtle way you carry it into the interior page. Your second design is very professional and organized looking but for the type of jewelry you're of...

Re: Project 1 Roughs

Hi Amy -

I like both of your designs but think I prefer the barnwood one. I like the feel of it. My only suggestion would be to play with font and font color to get the text to pop off the page and be a little more legible.
