Oh my gosh, that scrolling background is soooo freaking cool! The colors are great, and the images are greater! (I'll have to check out the artist, so mission accomplished on your part)
Obviously there's a few responsiveness issues, but it looks like a hard site to adapt, and I hope you keep working on it because it'll be amazing once finished!
As far as changes go, I'd just say fiddle with the header a bit. It blocks the way, and makes any smaller glitches look worse than they are.
Overall, the site has a great concept!
