PROJECT 01 FINAL

Post by qcottel »

HEY Y'ALL

Here is my final for Project 01! I managed to get everything up and running! I did have some trouble making actual links for my contact page so I substituted that for actual links in the meantime.

Anyway, here it is!

Hi! I really like your website, I am also a fan of Adam Sandler so it was neat to see all of the images of his different films. For the links as images the easiest way to do it is an <a href="url"> element that has an <img> element inside it which will have the image. I really like the layout of the website as a whole. I would change the navigation, on some pages it gets obscured or disappears when on top of the white background. Otherwise well done!

Hi,
I think your website is super fun and I like the black and white design. I would make the navigation text a bit smaller. Good Job!

Hey Quinn!

Nice website you got here. I like the focuses on the images and the layouts within the pages. My big critique is to add some color in each page, as things feel a little boring for such a colorful actor. Great work!

Hi Quinn!
Yay, you did it! Good work. I'm really enjoying the photos on your landing page and the boldness of your navigation buttons. If I could change anything, it might be to maybe name your pages in your head tag so that the website tabs have a name other than "Untitled Document." It's something easy to update in the HTML that gives your site a little more professionalism.

great work like all the pages layout-wise. Brings back nostalgic memories of my dad and I watching Water Boy. I could talk about his movies that bring me jo, but I won't. The only thing worth mentioning is your buttons are strange on the first page. They seem to be out of place. good job overall.

Hey Quinn,
I like what you did with the images and the type. They went well together. Praise our lord Adam Sandler!

Yo Quinn! I love that you went with Adam Sandler. I would just add some more color, or even a background image.

Quinn
Your mobile version lose the Nav links, and they are lost on full version because the design rule is that you will have contrast, not the same colors for your text and your background.
You may have missed that the Gallery instructions was that page is then broken up into two MORE subpages; a total of 6 pages in all on site.
I think you may be better off making the size of the nav links smaller and place them all on the darker black area.
I like your photo choice, the site makes me smile.
