I chose based on design...
I like the design of the black background roughs with all the masks.
I immediately thought of the show face off and I haven't really seen any of it, maybe one episode.
I would increase the body copy and the size of the masks photo and make it larger.
There is a lot of negative space to fill around it.

Great concepts! I really feel like you've improved so much in the course of the semester! If I had to pick one, I'm really liking the Rayce Bird middle design, primarily for the creepy/mysterious background image. Making your navigation bar transparent was an awesome choice, but I'd take it even further and make the main container transparent as well. It'll just play better with the background and text. Aside from that, I think you have a solid foundation to start building your website. I can't wait to see it finished!

I think rough2 (Rayce) is better than rough1.
The design is very clean and organized.
I also like the background image.
