Hi Tami,
Looks like you have a good start with this rough.
I like the overall feel you get with the background.
I would just add some more opacity
so that the products stand off a little more from it.

I like your layout here and how you have your cart summary on the left hand side. I also think the dropshadow is a nice touch to help make your items pop. I might include more information like prices and descriptions or titles just so if I were to direct someone to come see a specific item, I might be able to point, rather than saying, oh its the picture with blue jacket and the red shoes. So far so good though! I look forward to seeing more!

I think the same size of photos will improve your design.
