Re: Project 1 Roughs
I can really tell you've put a lot of research into your store and the branding on both websites is amazing! If I were your client I would be very happy with both options! If I have to pick one, I really like the second. Though I enjoy the imagery in your navbar in your first design, the layout of t...

Re: Project 1 Roughs
My favorite of the options is index_1. I think the colors in the image you've chosen pop, and the opaque background is a good balance between legibility and expressiveness. I d prefer having the social media links up in the top with your navigation though, because I think that would be a cool option...

Re: project 1 rough Lea
Hi! You have some good branding going as far as color, and I think that gets shown off better with your white design. That said, I really like the little active page crystal that you have in your second design. Since the first one is so clean, I think you could have a lot of fun by adding more littl...

Re: Project 1 ~ Roughs
Hello! I really enjoy the typeface you've chosen. I think would go over nicely with the target audience for your shop! I personally like your second layout more, and I enjoy the photos you've chosen, but I think I would steal the photographic cut outs from your first home page for the shop page in y...

Project One Roughs
Hello everyone! For my web store, I will be selling bottled sleep, dreams, etc. To reflect the product, I wanted the colors to evoke a sunset or a dawn feeling. Each rough has a different company name, so if you prefer one name over the other be sure to let me know! I appreciate any feedback you guy...

Re: Project 1 Roughs
I prefer the first design, the typography is excellent, as the imagery and colors you've chosen lends the site a very classy, beachy, kind of feel which would do very well with your demographic. The navigation is very clean and I can't find anything that I don't like about it! Great job.

Re: Project 1 roughs
I definitely like the dino design! I think it's very illustrative and you can have a lot of fun with the design and content! I like the drop shadows behind the dinosaurs, it gives them a bit of pop from the background and makes them seems clickable to their own product page. The organ website, thoug...

Re: Project 1 Roughs
The first design I prefer more than the second. The wood grain design gives it more character, though I would dial back on the saturation, or lighten the image to give you some better contrast with your type. I feel like making the images more equal in size and positioning would improve the design a...

Re: Project 1 Roughs
Like our classmates, I agree that the first composition is stronger. The use of imagery and color is more unique and eye-catching, and echoes the structure of the jewelry better. However, I do worry that it would be a difficult design to translate on to a smaller screen, such as a cellphone, so I'll...
