Great designs across the board - my favorite is the cream color with the rainbow at the top. Just tone down the size of the contact link thumbnails and I think you've got a winner!

In terms of white or black: if you want the viewer to focus on the illustrations then I would choose black; if you want the page centered around the text and informational then i'd go with white.
